Introduction

Okay I am new at this blogging thing, so will see how it goes. But I want to start a garden. In the past I have tinkered but was never motivated but this is the year. So I am determined and motivated. So let me tell you a little about my location. I live in North Louisiana , so my hardiness zone is 8a. Which means its warm and I can grow something pretty much year round. My yard is clay so I won't be using the existing soil I will be using containers and raised beds. I am not sure how many I will need at this point. I plan on planting spinach,tomatoes, collard, squash, zucchini, bell pepper, hot peppers, banana  peppers, eggplant, herbs, potatoes and maybe more. It seems like a lot and probably have already took on more than I can chew. I wanted to plant carrots and broccoli but it;s too late for them will  have to wait till fall.
